Botanical Advent Calendars 2023

This will be our last ever Advent Calendar so make sure you are signed up for our newsletter to be the first to know the first release.

We will be offering the same yarn format as we did last year as so many of you loved getting the extra 100 gram skeins and sets.

Day 1 you receive a 100 gram skein to open followed by 5 mini skeins (one per day) on days 2-6, then we repeat that 3 more times. So you end up with 4 x 100 gram skeins and 20 mini skeins in total.

We have two beautiful mood boards for you to choose from this year and we hope you love them as much as we do! There is a light spring floral mood board and a dark romantic floral mood board and our dyeing inspiration for each calendar comes from these.

Each of the 4 large skeins will be dyed a solid/semi solid colour and the minis will be tonal, speckled and/or blended colours in a fade fashion. The calendar can be used in so many ways. The 4 large skeins could be used for a lovely striped/colourblock sweater/project on their own. The 20 mini skeins can be used in one of the lovely advent projects designers put out each year. Or you could use each set as it comes, there are so many patterns that use a full skein and a bunch of mini skeins. I will send out some ideas in upcoming newsletters each month.

Included in Each Calendar

• 4 x 100 gram skeins of either our Lux Sock
  
• 20 x 20 gram (80 metres) mini skeins
  
• A download code for a pattern of your choice up to a value of $AU10 please leave a note or link in the checkout notes section if you already have something in mind or email me a link to the pattern on Ravelry, Payhip or Love Crafts before 20th October. If no pattern is chosen one will be chosen for you.

The Yarn

Lux Sock -  85% Ultra Fine Superwash Australian Merino, 15% Nylon. It is beautiful and soft and is lovely for shawls, scarves, sweaters, any garments close to the skein and socks. It is a fingering weight (4 ply) with each mini skein weighing 20 grams and 80 metres length.

Advent Calendars will be mailed out in early November to arrive well before December 1st for you to open. Items ordered with the Advent Calendars will be shipped with the calendars.

Shipping will be added during the checkout process.
