The second photo is an indication of how this yarn will knit up. This sample was worked using the Candy colourway on 2.5mm needles with 64 stitches, however all the colourways are dyed in the same manner. There may be a little fading between colour changes.
This yarn will self stripe in one row stripes however it is not an exact science and may differ depending on gauge. Best results are achieved when you swatch to find the needle size and amount of stitches it takes to complete one row of the colour change.
4 ply - Fingering Weight
Ultra fine 19.5 micron, 85% Australian Merino, 15% Nylon. 100 grams - 400 metres (437 yds).
Soft yet sturdy sock yarn with a high twist for extra strength and good stitch definition. Not just for socks, this yarn is gorgeous in sweaters and cardigans, soft enough for baby items and the high twist is great to help cables stand out.
Care - Handwash only We recommend that all our hand dyed yarns are hand washed in cool or tepid water and dried flat for best care.
Hand-dyed in small batches in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, Australia. We try to represent colourways as accurately as possible in our product photos. Colours may vary slightly from skein to skein, even within the same dyelot, which is the nature of hand-dyeing. If you buy more than one, we will do our best to match them up. Please ensure you buy enough to finish your project as future dyelots may have subtle differences. We also recommend that you alternate between skeins every few rows on larger projects.
