SUMMER YARN BASES NOW AVAILABLE!
POSTCARDS FROM AUSTRALIA
DESTINATION - AIRLIE BEACH, QUEENSLAND
Last year (2022) we took 9 months off and traveled to some of the most beautiful and amazing places on our 'Big Lap' of Australia. During this years yarn clubs we hope to immerse you in some of our favourite visited places by bringing you our thoughts, feelings, personal photographs and a little souvenir or treat that reminds us of each one, and of course there's yarn!. We only wish there were more months in the year as it was very hard to choose just 12!
THE POSTCARD
The photos included on each postcard are my own personal photographs from our time there. The 4 colour dots are your guide to the colour inspiration we have taken from those photos to create this months yarn.
In the January destinations box you can expect to find
- Your choice of yarn base and number of skeins
- A souvenir treat or treats relating to the travel destination for this month
- A postcard with my reflections of visiting this months destination
THINGS TO NOTE
Destination Boxes are a pre-order item. Orders will close at the end of the previous month and are shipped by the middle of their correlating month. This gives us time to dye the yarns, print the postcards and order any extra goodies to be added.
Items ordered together with the yarn clubs will be posted at the same time so please order separately if you would like your other items shipped earlier.
As usual you get to choose from a variety of our yarn bases and you also decide how many skeins you would like.
The yarn bases will change over the Australian seasons but our regulars will always be there. For example, sparkle yarns are available closer to Christmas, cotton or linen blend yarns are available in the warmer months and heavier weight, DK and Aran are available during cooler months.
