Shipping information

This product is a pre-order and will be dyed and shipped once orders close at the end of the month.

eg: January Clubs will be sold in December and shipped in the first week of January.

Any items that are included in the same order as the yarn clubs will be held to ship together. If you would like the items earlier please make a separate order.

Shipping is with Australia Post and tracking will be sent in your shipping notification.

Product Details

Silky soft yarn with good drape that is perfect for shawls, cowls and sweaters. The base is a light grey from the Yak which creates a moody effect when dyed.

60% Merino 20% Silk 20% Yak
212m (232 yds) per 100 grams
3.50mm - 4.50mm (US 4-7) needles

DK (8 ply) weight yarn. (We also have this same yarn blend in a fingering weight (4 ply) here.

Care - Handwash only. This yarn is a Superwash Merino however the mill advises that with the short fibres from the Yak, this is yarn should be hand washed gently in cool to warm water. We recommend that all our hand dyed yarns are hand washed in cool or tepid water and dried flat for best care.


Small batches hand-dyed in our studio located in Perth, Australia. We try to represent colourways as accurately as possible in our product photos. Individual skeins may vary slightly and we recommend you alternate between skeins every few rows on larger projects. Please ensure you buy enough to finish your project as future dye lots may have subtle differences.
