How do I use my stash rewards points?

Customers who have created an account with us can login to make a purchase and will receive stash rewards points for every order. Once enough points have been collected you can redeem them for a coupon code to use at checkout for a discount on your next order. How will my yarn arrive?

The yarn will arrive twisted into a hank (skein) and will need to be rolled into a ball by hand or into a cake on a ball winder and swift before using. If you do not have these items readily available you can wind the hank off by hand before use.

Please do not try to knit or crochet straight from the hank. There are plenty of video tutorials showing how to easily and effectively hand wind into a ball without getting into a tangled mess. This one shows how to do this using your knees or shoulder.


We recommend laying the hank around the legs of an upturned chair or small table to keep the strands separated while hand winding into a ball.

Do You Ship Internationally?

Currently we ship to Australia, New Zealand, US and Canada. Please message us if you are from another country and would like to make an order. We can ship anywhere worldwide but need to calculate the shipping separately.
We are an Australian based store but have a large number of international customers and we try to keep 
our shipping prices as low as possible.

Combination shipping is one way to do this. We can fit up to 500 grams of weight into one order for the parcel price 
so make the most of this offer by stocking up or sharing an order with a friend or others from your knitting or crochet group! Our knitting needles, crochet hooks and other smaller items ship at a letter rate making it even less expensive. We use Australia Post for all our shipping requirements and orders to most countries take between 6 to 10 business days

Do You Dye Custom Orders?

We are always working hard to keep the hand dyed yarn in our store stocked but if the colourway you want is out of stock we can dye some for you.

If you can't find something in our shop that is 'just right' for that special project you have in mind just send 
us an email or contact us on our Facebook page and we can chat about what you would like. Custom dyeing is usually done within a few days of the custom order being placed and paid for. 
Usually a custom order will be shipped within the week.
Due to the nature of custom orders we do not offer refunds unless the yarn has arrived damaged.

Can We Find Natural Fibre Arts Yarns Locally?

After having our yarns in yarn shops around Australia for so many years we have now decided not to dye wholesale anymore and so the only place you will find our yarns is here on our online webstore or at a local fibre festival. We are hoping to be able to travel to more interstate festivals in the future.

However, we are still available for local yarn shops to offer our yarns on a temporary basis as 'Dyer of the Month' so if this is something you would like to see at your local yarn shop please let them know and ask them to give me a call. 0478 277 250 - Cheryl.


Are your yarns from non mulesed flocks?

Yes they are. We have spent time researching and sourcing yarns that are as cruelty free as possible. Our suppliers have assured me that they only use Merino wool from wool growers 
that do not use mulesing on their sheep.
