A tonal, medium strength brown colourway with brown shade changes throughout the skein to give an interesting blended fabric.

100% SRS (Soft Rolled Skin) non mulesed Merino Wool.

8 Ply (DK weight) 200m per 100 gram skein.

This yarn is so deliciously soft for a non superwash, natural wool. It has a beautiful soft sheen and smoothness that you almost won't believe it is a non superwash yarn. It is just delightful to knit and crochet with and also to wear, even right next to your skin. The sheep are clipped when their fleece is 100mm length rather than the usual 60mm. This method means the longer staple length gives the yarn a smooth look and feel, reduces pilling and reduces felting. It really is a premium quality product grown right here in Australia and milled in New Zealand, that we are happy to introduce to you.

Care - Hand wash only We recommend that all our hand dyed yarns are hand washed in cool or tepid water and dried flat for best care.

Colours may vary slightly from skein to skein, even within the same dyelot, which is the nature of hand-dyeing.  Please ensure you buy enough to finish your project as future dyelots may have subtle differences. We also recommend that you alternate between skeins every few rows on larger projects.
